linking twitchadsolutions was nice months ago.. its so outdated! and yes as today twitch changed something so we get ads again. it was broken on chrome + ublock origin for a long time (or just 480p no ads(or wierd ttvlol that doesnt check if you have a sub to the channel and gives you ads half the time no matter sub or not)) One of the uBO team mentioned elsewhere that the method I am using only works in a particular way for a certain class of user; at any rate, they said it hadn't been updated in months.

Twitch staff has been fairly quick to remove client side fixes that disable advertisements. Since they're able to inject advertisementst into the HLS stream directly ( SSAI , Twitch's SureStream if you want to research further), I believe such fixes will not always be available.
